Product Description
Synchronous Machines are used as Generators in power plants because of their characteristic relation of speed
with frequency. The study of power generators and synchronous machine operation is part of most of the curriculum. Nvis 7018 Synchronous Machine Training System is an exclusive product designed to demonstrate the fundamental concepts of parallel operation of Three Phase Synchronous Generators. This synchronous machine training system is equipped with an advanced measurement system for AC Parameters and DC Parameters. It has inbuilt Phase Sequence Indicator which is highly stable and accurate. Due to the use of a big size LCD display it is possible to observe multiple parameters simultaneously. The RISC microcontroller based design provides better resolution and sensitivity as compared to analog meters. The panel is also equipped with an advanced Digital Synchroscope as well as Conventional Lamps (Dark Lamp Method) to perform the synchronization of two generators. Students can learn the basics as well as advanced experiments and safety conditions with precautions that are encountered while generating power with multiple generators. Various terminals including three phase starter terminals are provided on the front panel to provide flexibility and ease of connections while performing experiments. Students can perform experiments like Synchronization of parallel generators using advanced and conventional methods, behavior of generator, load sharing, analysis of voltage regulation of generator in a synchronous machine setup.
Nvis 7018 Synchronous Machine Training System is specially designed to provide practical understanding of synchronous machine operation, synchronization techniques, and alternator behavior used in real power systems. The system is equipped with an advanced digital measurement setup that ensures accurate and reliable readings during experiments.
Its RISC microcontroller based design provides better precision and sensitivity compared to conventional analog systems. Multiple synchronization methods, including synchroscope and lamp methods, allow students to gain hands-on experience with real industrial practices.
The synchronous machine training system also features an inbuilt phase sequence indicator, multifunction meter, and heavy-duty construction with safety protection for long operational life and safe usage. Ideal for engineering colleges, technical institutes, and vocational training centers, this synchronous machine trainer supports detailed study of alternator regulation, load sharing, and generator synchronization applications.
